Location
Norsal is located in the salt producing area of Areia Branca, in the far west of Rio Grande do Norte , 327 kilometers from Natal. This is one of the largest salt producing regions of South America.
NORSAL facilities occupy an area of 4450 acres of which 4120 are flooded and the remaining 330 are taken by dividing walls and areas related to the processing and storage of salt.
